SHARING COMES TO LIFE
The Community Sharing Project is a caring local volunteer group committed to serving families and individuals in need living primarily in the Vermont towns of Dorset, Danby, Pawlet, Rupert and Wells. Community Sharing Project gathers gifts of food, new clothing, boots and toys to provide a more bountiful holiday season. We are neighbors helping neighbors through the generous contributions of our donors and volunteers.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
There are many ways YOU can support our mission to bring a more bountiful holiday to our neighbors:
ANGEL TREES - Take an angel (or a bunch!) off the Christmas trees located in many stores, banks and churches in the area. Each angel lists a specific item of clothing you can purchase for a person and return to us. These trees will be set-up Thanksgiving weekend.
FOOD BASKETS - Donate a food basket. We give you the detailed shopping list, then you shop and deliver a complete basket back to us. Contact Beth Eyre* for the list.
TURKEYS - Donate a frozen store-purchased turkey. Please notify Beth Eyre* if you plan to donate a turkey so it may be counted.
TOY DRIVE - Donate a new, unwrapped toy for boys and girls up to age 12. Please, no violent themes.
CASH DONATIONS – All cash contributions are used to buy items for all Angels not taken from the trees, to buy new boots and gift cards to Price Chopper, and to fill in where needed. Please write the check to Community Sharing Project and mail to: Community Sharing Foundation, P.O. Box 155, Dorset, VT 05251
ADOPT A FAMILY - To “adopt” a family, you would shop for and donate all the clothes, food and toys for that family. (We still purchase their boots).
All 2026 Angel Tree donations are due at Dorset Church by Friday, December 11, 2026.
